Help us bring the healing power of the outdoors to a local San Diego family 🌲
Dear Potential Compassionate Donors,
Hello, my name is Karina Anderson, Founder and President of Coalition for True World Change (C4TWC), a San Diego Public Charity Status (170 (b)(1)(A)(vi) IRS TAX ID# 83-4112735 CA ENTITY# 4824783), established in 2019, and recognized by Joel Anderson, San Diego County Board Supervisor for District 2 in 2025 for National Nonprofit Day.
Since our inception we have assisted hundreds of individuals through our projects, including filing a Cease and Desist against the County of San Diego in 2022, which had over ten thousand Twitter views in two days. Within such, we charged the county for breaching its’ duty under law in failing to provide San Diego County Adult Dependents with shelter.
This is an obligation we feel is still unresolved.
We have also attended numerous San Diego protests, rallies, online council meetings, were co-plaintiffs for the Micheal Bloom case, and filed civil actions via pro se cases related to homelessness (the deprivation of shelter) and its’ criminalization.
As our nation continues to fall into moral collapse due to financial inequity as a result of greed, wasteful spending on war, and sending aid to other countries for war, we feel that more and more families with children, including those with special needs, are left homeless on the streets in vehicles or severely struggling in existing campgrounds. They do this instead of solving our nation’s homeless epidemic, betraying America’s most vulnerable in our society (the poor, sick, dependent and homeless), including homeless families through the failure to protect them.
We see the rich who own habitable trailers and fifth wheels used merely for weekend use once in a while or stored on their private property or storage lots for years, letting rot set in.
We believe structural stability requires both a reliable way to move and a safe place to breathe.
We believe that nature offers unparalleled peace, therapeutic relief, and structural stability.
Throughout our county, there are numerous homeless families, disabled individuals, and veterans in vehicles on the street or in a campground as members, whose travel trailer or fifth wheels have deteriorated mechanically or structurally, thereby jeopardizing their only home and safe place they know.
To assist these individuals with these specific needs, we are launching the Mobile Stability & Respite Initiative.
There are a number of families that have reached out to us pleading for help. Among those most pressing currently are:
1. SINGLE MOTHER RAISING THREE NEURODIVERGENT CHILDREN (CASE#2026-F4): A courageous single mother is raising multiple children with unique sensory and behavioral needs which requires tremendous energy, and standard housing or public spaces don’t always offer the safe, open environments these children need to thrive.
Specifically, this family is currently facing two compounding crises:
No Reliable Mobility: Mom’s current vehicle is experiencing severe mechanical problems, high oil pressure, and is not operational, making it a struggle to get her children safely to their weekly medical and developmental therapy appointments.
No Safe Respite: Traditional housing and crowded public spaces can trigger intense sensory overloads for her kids. They desperately need the calm, predictable sanctuary of the great outdoors to heal and bond.
2. SINGLE MOTHER WITH OLDER TEEN DAUGHTER (CASE#2026-F2).
Unsafe Habitat: At present, this family is unable to live in their travel trailer, which is in paid storage in a campground (which they have been full-time members of for many years). This is due to black mold and other deterioration, thereby forcing them to live in a tent until they can have a company willing to donate their services to repair the extensive damage on their existing trailer or when they are able to get another trailer.
WE ARE CALLING ON OUR COMMUNITY!
PLEASE help us provide these families with total stability, both on and off the road.
How You Can Make a Direct Impact Today:
· Donate a Commuter Vehicle (Minivan, SUV, or Sedan): Give these families a safe, reliable way to reach critical medical appointments.
· Donate a Travel Trailer or Camper: Provide a road-ready mobile sanctuary for their therapeutic outdoor respite.
· Gift a Camping Membership ($700 - $1,200): Cover membership to give them free, year-round access to secure campgrounds.
· Donate Professional Services: Are you a mechanic or RV technician or restoration specialist in San Diego? Donate an hour of your time to perform a safety inspection and/or help repair.
The Major Tax Advantage:
Because Coalition for True World Change passes these vehicles and trailers directly to a family in need, IRS rules allow you to deduct the full Fair Market Value of the asset on your taxes—not just a low auction liquidation price!
Support the Mobile Stability & Respite Initiative Today!
Help bless these families in desperate need!
